Final Drawing Series for Figure Drawing and Anatomy
These drawings are loosely inspired by Homer’s Odyssey. The soldier seen in the piece is a Grecian warrior who struggles with the excitement of war and the value of human life. At the beginning, he is arrogant towards the Fates who try to warn him of the future. By the third and final piece, he exhibits despondency and grief as he comes to terms with the consequences of his actions and the loss of human life.
